Susan's design career began 20 years ago, when she joined
her husband's real estate investment firm to work with hedge funds and
private investors conducting REIT acquisitions (single family). She started out
evaluating potential new investments and creating rehab plans for external
customers, but she expanded to help Jeff in their own investments and flips.
Taking outdated or inefficient spaces and giving them more functional,
beautiful purpose was an exciting process where Susan thrived.
When they relocated to Reynolds Lake Oconee in 2019,
Susan knew she wanted to keep working in a creative, construction-oriented
field. Artisan Custom Closets has been the ideal fit for her talents and
passion! She enjoys working with clients to understand their needs for a given
space, then creating a design that marries form and function to its highest
level.
Susan graduated from Purdue University, and she and her
husband have two daughters. Caroline is a student at UGA and Willa Katherine
attends Lake Oconee Academy high school. When she's not designing, Susan enjoys
cooking, entertaining, traveling, golf, boating, hiking, kayaking, and yoga.
Poppy, her mini malti-poo, is Susan's home office mate in Greensboro.
