Getting Organized for 2012: The Mudroom
In light of the New Year, we're doing a series here on the blog offering helpful organizing tips for those of you with the resolution of getting organized in 2012. Today's post will focus on the mudroom, an extremely important space since it's often one of the first areas you see when you come home. Here are several mudroom organizing tips from Artisan Custom Closets:
- Put up hooks where you and your family can hang coats, jackets, and bookbags.
- Include a bench, which helps put on shoes before going out.
- Use baskets, drawers, or cabinets for storage that hides clutter.
- Have a spot to place purses, keys, sunglasses, and other odds and ends.
